Krk

Krk is one of two larges islands in Croatia, with Cres having almost exactly the same surface. It’s connected with mainland with a road bridge, which means you can get there without having to use a ferry. It’s home to about 1300 diverse plant species, and about 220 bird species.

Hiking / cycling

Krk has a dense net of tourist and cycling trails. It is very mountanous, cyclists can choose between road cycling with high elevation gain and very rocky narrow mountain biking trails. Krk has also own Jacob’s Trail.
