Salinas Reef
One of the most spectacular reef areas on Fuerteventura, with rugged volcanic topography and frequent pelagic action.

Salinas Reef is a long rocky reef area in front of Salinas del Carmen, near Caleta de Fuste. It includes multiple dive spots with very different profiles, from easier dives in the shallow part to advanced dives with stronger current and deeper sections.

Marine life and highlights
The reef is known for rugged volcanic structures, swim-throughs, walls, overhangs, and sandy patches. Divers commonly report sardine schools, amberjacks, barracudas, tuna, rays, morays, and occasional angel sharks.
