Strick
An interesting dive location known for lake chars, deep walls and a small tunnel

Strick is a diving location at the southern part of Zugersee. You can park on the lake side, or on another side, under the highway.
Entry & Exit
You can enter only through steep metal stairs, which are removed between middle November and December to protect the lake chars, that have laying ground there. You should be very careful when crossing the barrier because it’s very steep there. When you’re down, you can comfortably stand on the ground while putting your fins on.
Dive description
You go right from the entry, in the direction Arth. After about 10 minutes, you’ll notice big stones on 10 meters, it’s where you should go down. Steep stone walls begins at about 30 meters, and goes down under 50. There’s a huge tree trunk on the wall, if you go up there, you’ll find a wooden chest on 30 meters with metal seahorse. There’s another wall beginning at about 25 meters. Go above and further in dive direction, after about 5 minutes turn around and stay about 12-15 meters. You should find entry to a small tunnel. It’s easy to miss with bad visibility. When you’re back on entry point, you can go 5 minutes in another direction, and then turn around and swim around the wooden shielding on the edge of the shore - it’s a favorite spot of pumpkinseeds.
