My first diving vacations in warm water were over 2 years after I started diving, with over 200 dives in cold water. This might seem weird, but it were weird times, when I started diving. Travel options were limited, and those that existed were extra stressy, and everyone was waiting for the end of humanity.
In November 2022, I’ve visited Deep Blue Diving on Fuerteventura to make my first boat dives in warm waters. I was enjoying clear waters, far sights, and a lot of fish, including huge groupers and shy angel sharks. I’ve also seen octopuses during my night dive.
The dive guides were very nice and cheerful. It was fun to dive with them. You can also chat with them in the picknick area, designed to rest and eat something between dives, and drink beer afterwards.
After the dives I was hiking in the area, I’ve also made a longer run on the coast in the day off (no dives because of strong winds). The island is very interesting geologically, you see volcanic rocks everywhere.

I’ve got no underwater camera then, but thanks to Wikimedia Commons project, I’m able to share my impressions with you
