I’ve made a run that covered the part between Lucerne and Sins.
Lucerne
Reuss is divided into two main parts. The upper Reuss mouth into the Lake Lucerne in Flüelen, and lives the lake in Lucerne as lower Reuss.
Lucerne is a city for slow living. You drive slow because of congestion, and when there’s no congestion, because of insane number of traffic cameras, that would astonish even Kim dynasty. You walk slow, because the city is overcrowded with tourists. But as you leave the city center, you can slowly gain momentum and start the sporty part.
Emmen - Perlen
This part of trails goes through the forest on the shore of Reuss. It is a very nice part, for recreation, education and culture. There’s a Planetenweg - Planetary Trek - where Sun and nine planets (yes, Pluto wasn’t cancelled) and distances between them are represented in the same proportions. The idea is to help people imagine the vast distances of space by providing a real life experience. It’s very popular in German-speaking lands.

The Skulpturenweg is the trail of wooden sculptures. They are placed on the same route, between The Sun and Uranus. I’ve counted 34 of them, but that number is still growing.

Perlen - Sins
Perlen is an important point for water sport lovers. There is the last weir, from which the river is passable for small vessels. For hikers/runners the part between Perlen and Gisikon is not very nice, because it follows the highway, but you can avoid it by going to Buchrain and choosing the trail navigating through a hill coverest with forest.
After Gisikon, the vicinity has rural character, with a lot of open spaces (sun protection!). However, there are parts of shore covered by trees, where you can find shadow.
