Near the bridge in Obfelden there’s a nice parking spot, where you can start your hike. Sonn after this bridge, there’s a small weir.

This area is very popular by water sport lovers. There’s a pontonier club placed near bridge in Ottenbach. On the other side there’s a camping place.

Further, near the next bridge, there’s a Wikinger Ranch - a place for horse lovers. You can book a horse ride there, or learn horse riding if you’re a beginner.

This part is the nature reserve, Die Reussebene, which inspired me to use the name ‘The beutiful Reuss’, because ‘bene’ means ‘beautiful’ in Italian. In reality, the name is less romantic, because it breaks after ‘Reuss’, and ‘Ebene’ means ‘plateau’. But because it’s written together, there’s a room for creative reading. Because it’s left unregulated, you can find many fallen trees in water.

This track starting from parking in Obfelden bridge is one of potential hikes you can make. It also contains more nice pictrues of the route.
