On the sunny Sunday, I’ve made a pause from scuba diving and I’ve done a 32 km trail run instead.
The route led through the beautiful Sihltal (the valley of river Sihl). It starts in Zurich and leads through recreational areas south from city, and then leads through a valley surrounded by mountains.
There are a lot of people there, especially near the Sihlwald train station, which has a big parking area and adventure park for children. Further south, there’s a big camping area.
There are a few small shallow ponds that get warm quickly, so the frogs visit them much earlier than the lakes. One of them was full of tadpoles. I’ve made a footage with them.
