The starting point is located a bit behind Stara Baška, on a parking used by beach visitors. It’s a very interesting run I can recommend, very nice also for hiking.

It’s fascinating how many different landscapes there are on Krk island. Here, just 100 meters above see level, we have alpine landscapes.

On the top of cliff ridge, Vrska Glava, we have rugged, hard terrain, full of loose stones. On this day, it was also very windy.

Just below, in the wind protected valley, we have a lot of mountain pines.

This is the top of Veliki Hlam. The stone pile marks the highest point of the mountain.

I’ve done this run on the day off from diving - my ears needed a pause, and the wind was very strong, which means bigger waves. It allowed me to discover a completely different perspective of the island.
