How GoScuba System Escapes handles data and privacy.

What data we collect

This blog is static and does not intentionally collect personal data.
Our hosting provider may automatically log IP addresses in server logs as a standard technical practice.
If a page contains embedded content (for example YouTube videos, TikTok posts, or Strava activities), your browser connects to those third-party servers to load it.
When these embeds load, third parties may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser details, device information, and referrer URL.

We do not use tracking cookies.
Embedded third-party content (YouTube, TikTok, Strava) may set or read cookies or similar technologies (for example for player preferences, security/fraud prevention, and potentially analytics/advertising depending on your account session and consent choices with those providers).

We use YouTube embeds for video content, TikTok embeds for short videos, and Strava embeds for activity previews.
When this third-party content is loaded, requests are made to the providers’ infrastructure, which may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser information, device details, and referrer.

Embeds on this site load directly in-page, so third-party requests can occur as soon as the page containing the embed is opened.

Since we do not process personal data from embeds directly ourselves, rights requests regarding data processed by YouTube, TikTok, or Strava should be addressed to those providers.
